 Cool Peel is a brand new way to safely, and comfortably deliver the benefits of a traditional CO2 resurfacing treatment. By targeting just the superficial layer of skin tissue, damaged skin is removed revealing younger and healthier looking skin. 

  CO2 lasers are the gold standard in treating wrinkles, age spots, acne scars, and other blemishes as well as tighten skin and balance tone. Damaged skin tissue is removed, or ablated, stimulating new collagen production and heat energy is delivered to tighten the skin. Sounds great but CO2 treatments are often accompanied by considerable downtime and risk while damaged skin heals.Many advances have been made to improve the side effects of CO2 treatments but ONLY the CoolPeel can deliver a fractional ablative treatment without the downtime. There is minimal risk of hyperpigmentation, demarcation or induced infection. 

Cool Peel- This is a 2-3 day downtime procedure that is the Gold Standard in facial treatments, targeting tone and texture issues. We can target specific areas such as jowls, crow's feet, acne scars, current acne, and red and brown pigments within the skin. Cool Peel technology is good for all skin types. It targets wrinkles, age spots, acne scars, blemishes and tightens and balances tone. This laser targets the superficial layers of the skin, revealing young and refreshed skin, with a much lower downtime than traditional C02 lasers. 

Contraindications include pregnancy, poor/weak immune systems, uncontrolled diabetes, recent sun exposure, photosensitizing medications, open wounds. 

IMPORTANT: It is essential to remain hydrated in the weeks prior to your appointment, and to use a good moisturizer and hyaluronic acid daily. This laser is attracted to the water molecules within the skin. Please take the time to invest in your skin health! Avoid retinols and sun exposure for 1-2 weeks prior to appointment. Alert provider for a history of herpes.

 HOW LONG DOES A COOL PEEL TAKE? 

 A full-face Coo lPeel laser peel can take anywhere from 5-15 minutes. 

 WHAT IS THE RECOVERY TIME FOR COOLPEEL? 

 One of the main benefits of a Cool Peel, is that there is minimal downtime. Downtime consists of 2-3 days of redness and flaking. No working out or makeup for 48 hours post treatment. Your skin may feel dry and scaly as it heals so it is important to keep the skin hydrated. No sun exposure 1-2 weeks prior, and 4 weeks post. Remember to wear sunscreen daily and protect your new skin! 3 treatments may be required to achieve desired results. 

 WHEN CAN I RETURN TO MY SKINCARE ROUTINE?  

After your Cool Peel treatment, it is important to keep your skin hydrated and there may be certain products you should avoid. Talk to your provider about the best post-treatment care and when you can return to your daily skincare regimen. 

This is your traditional C02 Laser treatment with 5 to 10 days of downtime depending on depth! We can treat deeper lines and more mature skin. This is a fractional C02 laser, meaning it has newer technology, to resurface a fraction of your skin, without causing severe burns and weeks long downtime. This is the most effective procedure to improve skin quality and texture and reduce moderate to severe wrinkles. It also increases collagen stimulation. We can also use this on the hands, neck and chest. 

This is not for those with melasma, as it may darken with heat. It has the same contraindications as the CoolPeel. It is not recommended for those with rosacea or inflammatory skin conditions such as psoriasis,
